Sharron Kinnon PhD - Molecular Biology Manager
Sharron joined Vitrology in July 2007 as Molecular Biology Manager.
She brings a substantial 11 years experience, 7 of which have been
spent in the CRO industry. Sharron graduated with a first class
honours degree from Glasgow Caledonian University and continued
her academic career in the University where she was awarded a Ph.D
in Molecular Oncology. Sharron joined Q-One Biotech as a post-doctoral
development scientist where she was part of the team developing
and validating QPCR assays. Sharron rapidly progressed into a technical
manager role within Q-One Biotech where she was responsible for
assay integration and high throughput testing, both as a manager
and Study Director. This allowed her to significantly develop and
expand her technical and managerial experience encompassing a wide
range of Biosafety tests, client interaction and GLP compliance.
These skills were further developed following the sale of Q-One
Biotech to BioReliance. She is a highly experienced Molecular Biology
Study Director and has considerable knowledge and understanding
of the technical, GLP and client requirements required in biosafety
testing. Sharron is committed to providing clients with impeccable
quality and service while meeting their technical and regulatory
requirements. |
