Alan
Wilson BSc - Validation Manager
Alan was appointed Validation Manager for Vitrology in 2007. After graduating from Paisley University with a BSc Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering he gained valuable experience in a career spanning twenty years with the implantable medical device industry where he specialised in Engineering and Quality Assurance Management roles. In the late 90’s Alan joined the biotech industry. At Q-One Biotech he lead a validation team which had particular success in bringing their manufacturing operations on line; he held senior positions in the Quality Systems Group spearheading the Q-One Biotech philosophy of outstanding customer service. Following the sale of Q-One Biotech to BioReliance he was appointed their Director of Facilities for UK operations with responsibility for facilities, equipment support and materials management. Alan has a wide experience of cGMP and GLP operations and strives to ensure the business excels in satisfying regulatory requirements and client expectations. |
