Vitrology Bionet
Exceptional service levels, the goal of Vitrology, requires among many priorities, clear, concise, transparent, and on demand, communication with our clients. In this day and age of online Internet communications, this translates to a capable database and online systems that will allow:-
- Clients to download and upload information as it becomes available.
- Interrogate their data, for both ongoing and historical work.
- Sophisticated in-house database that manages the flow of work without burdening the organisation with inefficient practices and puts information at the "fingertips" of the scientists involved.
- In-house database that can evolve with the organisation, remaining efficient, effective, and flexible.
Here at Vitrology, we considered it critical for meeting these goals, that we "wrapped" the database around our quality and operational systems, rather than these systems being dictated by the software package.
The solution has been to employ our own development team who have developed a powerful internal database with fully interactive "front-end". This consolidates and manages all information from first contact with Vitrology, through Contract agreement, sample management, operations, study auditing, reporting, and invoicing. Subsequent planned modules include study trending, reagent tracking and equipment tracking.
BioNet is our web based application
which allows our clients to interogate our internal database.
Here existing clients are enabled to securely log onto our
database and "interact" through a standard web browser
such as Internet Explorer.
These functions include:-
Test Item Submission
User-friendly Test Item Submission Forms (TISF's) for online completion, detailing sample requirements, shipping information, CITES, GMO, etc. requirements.
Completion of these online advises us in advance of studies
and allows work to be pre-scheduled before samples arrive,
shortening the overall study time.
Study Approval
Clear guidance on the content of each study plan being undertaken, with client sign-off prior to initiation and “built-in” version control.
Online Scheduling Information
Sample receipt, planned schedule and preliminary unaudited
result information is available through BioNet.
Clients can log on and see dates for, assay start, assay completion,
and audited final report dispatch.
Download PDF Final Reports
Immediately a final report is completed, the PDF version is
available for clients to download.
Historical Information
Your history, including all the samples sent, assays performed,
dates, Study plans approved, invoices is available online.
